SERIES OF MURDERS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright St. Petersburg, May 4. The trial was opened ..at Krasnoyarsk, Siberia, of a man named Halotzky. He denies murdering twelve girls whose bodies wero found buried in a forest during tho summer of 1913. • The • girls had apparently been killed by blows on the head. Haletzkv offered a servant girl a post at a rich man's country house, and attacked her in the forest. The girl temporarily blinded him, and escaped and informed the police.
