(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)Diinedln, April 27. Tho audited balance-sheet of the Ota"o Strike Distress Relief Fund shows that tho total recoipts were £1232 17s. 3kl. Of this amount £652 3s. 6d. was contributed by unions and trades, tho General Labourers' Union subscribing £131 'ss. and tho Bootmakers' Union £100. The United Federation of Labour made a grant of £250. Collect-, in" cards yielded £122 6s. 4d., openair collections £30 4*. Hid., and private- donations £GG 18s. Gd. Relief to waterside workers at Dimedin and Port Chalmers absorbed £1029 'lf)s. 6d.; relief to seamen, £101 lis. Gd.; relief to others, £G6 Gs. Gd. Sundry small payments brought the expenditure up to £1224 is. Id., leaving n balanco of £8 16s. 2Jd.
