EMPIRE RIFLE MATCH
. » NEW. ZEALAND TEAM. Tho General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces (Major-Gcncral A. J. Godlev) has notified Colonel R. «. Collins, Chief Executive Officer of tho Dominion Rifle Association, that ho has approved of the following team to represent New Zealand in the Empire Rifle Match at Melbourne in November next :•— Riflemen W. N. Maseficld and H. Loveday, Lieutenant H. Simmonds, Rifleman J. W. Milroy, Corporal L. Ben't, Riflomen D. M. M'lntosh, J. Given, and J. Cheeseman the eight highest aggregate scorers in tho final fifty before the Belt was fired for), and, Rifleman F. H. James, Corporal F. W. Ching, Rifleman A. Patrick, and Private L. Loveday (selected by tho committee). Tho team will leave Now Zealand early in October to take part in tho New South Wales Rifle Meotiag, which is held prior to tho Commonwealth Meeting. Tho team will probably bo in charge of Captain Doull, of Dunedin.
