« — • MAN FIRES SHOTS AT TRAMCAR. (By Telegraph.—Prosa Association.) Dunedln, April 9. A young man employed in Mr. J. J. Marlow's upholstery department, Princess Street, caused a sensation this afternoon by firing three shots at a tramcar passing tho premises. Tho'police- were at onco sent for, and Sergeant Kidd took the man to the sta-' tion. He appears to have a delusive belief that people on tho cars insulted him. and had been carrying a revolver on his person. No damage was done, tho bullets going wide. It is understood that the young man will bo sont to a mental hospital.
