GOVERNOR'S HOPE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) Invercargilt, April 4. Lord and Lad,y Liverpool wero publicly welcomed by tho Mayor and presented with an address. In replying. His Excellency spoko in support of the Dominions' Exhibition to bo hold in Loudon next year, believing it wotild be the nicc-.ns of "binding the .Empire nioro closely together. Ho hoped itw people of the various Dominions would enter into tho movement with enthusiasm, and ensure thorough representation of tho great resources of tho Empire. Tho vice-regal party then loft on a motoring tour in tho country.
