ATTEMPT TO BE MADE TO-DAY. ■. i Saturday's southerly, with its velocity of something like 30 miles per hour, upset all tho preparations that had been made for Mr. Scotland's flight at Athletic Park. " From official information, it was learned that tho wind gauge registered some forty miles an hour on Saturday, which is three times greater than Mr. Scotland's biplane is capable of resisting, and to have attempted a Wight would havo been courting disaster. The timo for the proposed flight this evening—between 5 and 7 o'clock— was selected to allow' of tho best possible wnd conditions, and the most convenient timo for patrons to attend.
