ANNUAL MEETING. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) New Plymouth, February 19. Tho'annual meeting of the Press Association, Ltd., Was held this morning, Mr. H. Brett, president, presiding. Thirty-eight members, representatives of; 'all the papers 1 of tho Dominion, wero present. ,':''_.. ... The chairman delivered a Jengthv address, stating tho affairs of the, association wore in a condition of efficiency and stability. Ho concluded by saying that tho New Zealand Press Association pasBesses one of tho'most complete cable services in the world. The annual report and balance-sheet wero approved after short discussion's. Mr. :G. F&nwick ("Otago Daily Times"), was - elected' chairmaji, and Mr; P. .'Selig ("Chfistch'urch . Press"), "vice-presidpnti-for the ensuing year. • Messrs. Brett, Hprtqn, Carson, and ?irWr were re-elected to the directorate'. Tim'aru WaVehosea : -as the next-place if mcetine.
