The Lord Mayor, who presided, pointed out that the meeting was not political. The Hon. T. Mackenzie, High Commissioner representing New Zealand, said! that New Zealand was not yet competent to do all tliat was n< u-Esary for tho safety in transport of its produce, but was prepared to do its share.
