THE EARTHQUAKE.
' HOW. THE TOWN HALL FARED. Tho Town Hall appears to be the building which suffered more than any other through' .the-, efforts of -'Sunday morning's earthquake. Considerable trouble has been experienced iii normal times, through slabs of plaster dropping and cracks appearing in the walls and ceilings, and a good deal of money has been expended from time to timo in effecting repairs. , Those' rooms with Wuiiderlich steel ocilings are apparently unharmed, thus demonstrating the superiority of Wunderlich Cfcilings over plaster. Briscoe and Co., Ltd., are the solo agents for these ceilings.— Advt.
