Women delegates advocated the placing of several women ill tho .position ot legislators. The conference. . decided that the names of all future nominees to the Legislative Council be submitted to tho Central Executive of the Political Labour League for endorsement, tliusplacing the nominees of tile Upper Houso on tho same footing as Labour Party candidates for the Legislative Assembly.
