Mr. Lockett, chairman of the EiflDlovers' Society, Btates tliat fourfifths of the coal men are returning to workoritho old terms. The men's demands would havo involved an increase of 12} por cent, on working expenses, and brought the coal trade to the verge of bankruptcy.
; DECISION OF THE WORKERS. (Rec. January 30, 0.5' a.m.) < London, January 29. A joint committee of coal porters and vehicle workers decided to terminate the strike.;
