Beganwy, North Wales, was born in 1821, mid was educated n(: Rugby (the scene of "Tom 'Brown's Schooldays") and at Brnsenoio College, Oxford. Hβ was Warden of Enthin for fifty-five years, chairman of the Ituthin Board of Guardians for sixteen years, nml, for many years, chairman of tho Ruthin County Bench of Justices.
