WHAT BIOVE NOW?
THE OLD WATERSIDEHS. A special meeting of members of the late W atersido Workers' Union was held in. the Skating Rink in Vivian Street yesterday morning. The meeting was not open to the Press, and subsequent inquiries elicited the information that there was nothing for publication. It is understood, however, that thoso present discussed tho question of endeavouring to place Mr. G. Farlnnd in tho position of secretary of tho new union and Mr. G. Bnico a3 his assistant. Failing that, it is stated that an attempt will be made to form a Coal Workers' Union apart from the present body. ■ Messrs. Farlnnd and Bruce were secretary and assistant secretary to the old union before tho strike.
