Two thousand chairmakers at .High Wycombe, who are on strike, attacked the factory in which they were employed, and smashed tho windows. During a furious hand-to-hand fight with the police, in which bottles and stones were, used as weapons, several police wero injured. Non-strikers, who wero work-, ing in the factories wero rescued with difficulty.
