Sydnay, January 7. Ino secretary of the Australasian Federation of Labour has received a cable message from Mr. Mickey, of the i\ew Zealand Federation, stating that fully a thousand men who struck have been victimised, and that the samo number of miners are out. The treasury lias been depleted, and he is urgently appealing for funds. Circulars have been issued to Australian affiliated bodies asking them to support the appeal.
