ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FOUND DEAD IN' A BOAT. (By Telegraph.—Pre-s Association.! Huntly, January 7. Philip Coleman, aged 22 years, was found dead in a boat floating in the Waikato River, rear Htmtly, to-day. Death is supposed to have been due to heart failure. "WOMAN DIES IN THE STREET. Mrs. Reynolds, a resident of Tawa Flat, died suddenly in the street yesterday evening. Deceased was taken ill in the street when near Quinton's Corner, and had to be carried into a shop near by, where, life was pronounced to.be extinct. The body was removed to the Morgue, and an inquest will he held as soon as arrangements are made. FISHERMAN IN PERIL. • Timaru, January 7. This morning, as two fishermen were returning from the deep sea fishing grounds in a motor-launch, one of them, Charles Yatos, fell overboard. The boat was going eight or nine knots, with a still' breeze linliind, and fully half nn hour elapsed before the second man got tho boat round and back to his mate. / • ■
