MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Mr. J. S. Evans, S.M., presided over Saturday's sitting of the Magistrate's Court.. On a charge of stealing a suit of clothes, the property of Frank Kidman, Augustus Abrahams was fined £3, awl 4s. costs, in default seven days' imprisonment. Charles 'Santlow was charged with using objectionable language, insobriety, and with resisting a police constable whilst in the execution of his duty. On tho first count, Sandow was fined £3, in default 14 days' imprisonment, and on the other two charges, ho was convicted and discharged. On a charge of having incited Charles Waters to resist. a constable in .tho execution of his duty, Tiros. King was fined 20s.j in default 4S hours' imprisonment.
A further remand was granted Thosi Byan, who appeared to answer thfeo charges of forgery. Bernard Smith was remanded until January 3, on a serious charge,
