The Senate Committee of the Federal Parliament, which lias inquired into certain allegations of corrupt practices at tho last Federal elections, is satisfied that there is no evidence to sustain tho charges. No witness was able to say that ho had personal information of unlawful practices. Tho evidence disclosed remarkably few irregularities, considering tho large increase in the number of voters.
