The Ihumata, with timber from Hokianga, is stuck up, wharf labourers still adhering to tho policy of 'the unionists' conference, namely, to unload only those of the Union Company's vessels not trading to New Zealand. The crew of the Inga, which arrived at Newcastle from Sydney, gave twentyfour hours' notice at Sydney, believing I the vessel was going to load coal for New Zealand. The coal trimmers refused to trim the coal for tho same reason. The seamen, however, accepted an assurance that the Inga was not going to New Zealand. She probably goes to Suva. Trimmers at Newcastle refuse to trim the Kurow, which arrived for coal for the Dominion. EMPLOYERS' VIEW. PROMPT GOVERNMENT ACTION URGED.
