Herr Erzbcngcr, of tho Centre Party, pleading in tho lleichstag for tho abolition of duelling, said there was an institution existing in Berlin for hiring out so-called "men of honour." This, he said,-'lend-wives to infidelity, and resulted iri duelling on indefensiblegrounds.' Ho added that tho polico and tho Public Prosecutor were aware 'of the institution.
