Tlierc is ho alteration to report in connection with strike matters, fn the cit.v transport workers to all intents and purposes have resumed work, and the employers of drivers have no difficulty iu getting men. Although the day was very unpleasant, a thick mist enveloping tho port, work along the waterfront is being carried out with tho samo vigour and eagerness that has characterised the efforts of Arbitrationists since they commenced work some weeks ago. Work was proceeding briskly this morning on the steamers Kaitangata, Canopue, Flora, Kowhai, Titnnia, Hercules, Kairaki,. and Pateena, and on. tb<s schooners Eliza Firth, Annie Hill, and Cambridge.
