Tho Deiv union was registered with a membership of 30. Tho secretary of the existing Drivers' Union, which is also registered undc tho Arbitration Act, stated this morning that ho had received no intimation from the Registrar of tho intention to register tho now union. His union included not only horse drivers, but also motor drivers. He did not see how .tho new union could possibly have any standing. There was already a union in existence, and a previous request by a section of 'tho drivers to form a separate union had been refused. Further than that he did not see how the-new proposal was practicable with such a membership.
