INDUCTION" OF REV. A. E. HUNT. The iiidaation of the Rev. A. E, Hunt', into oi Tiroaru, to the ministry of tho Courteiiay Place Congregational Church took place Inst evening in the dluirch, ill the presence of a largo eon^tegation. On behnlf of fellow ministers aiul of tlio church, the Rev. J. Heed Olasson extended a warm welcome to tho Rev. Jlr. Hunt, giving tho hand of fellowship in tlio good work and expressing the' best- of hope and desire for tlso new minister's fut.ira work in tlio pastorate. The llev. Mr. Hunt, in replying, remarked that .ho was pleased that tho opening service of Ins ministry had been of such a character. lie appreciated tho welcome offered to Inni and expressed his "belief tliat _ all would bo cemented in friendship in the work oi Jesus Christ. . , Tho Rev. W. A, Evans, of Newtown, delivered an address, taking as his text! Enhcsiiins iii, S, and (k-.'ilinu at length with the many features in tlio work of the ministry. The Rev, J. Dawson said that it- was very gratifying to him as a Methodist minister to'have been asked to take part in the gathering. This, he said, was one of tho many evidences of the growing spirit of Christ tlmrujihout the Cmircli. The Rev. J. (!■ Gibson took the Scripture reading and prayer. Subsequently a sccial gathering was held in-the schoolroom, w'heu Mr. I. lleviwkls, sccrotary of the chinch, <*- ten'ded a very liearty welcome to tvie Rev. Mr. Hunt and assured lmn ol hearty co-operation. After the new minister tiad replica, a s-iort vocal and instrumental programme was submitted, and supper was handed round, ail enioyablo gathering being concluded by the singing of tho Doxology. . :
