THE LIBERALS AND THEIR ALLY.
Sir, —Your correspondent, Mr. J. T. Kent, in to-day's issue of The Dominion-, asks the question, "'Who gavo the lied Feds, their political birthright?" hi my estimation, the Liberal Party did, by putting the Second Ballot Act on the Statute Hook. For is if not a fact that Messrs. Payne, Robertson, and Webb won their seats in the second ballot? However, if Mr. Massey helped the Red Feds, to win their seats, how comes it about that tho Liberals and tbr, Red Feds, now in the House arc working hand-in-haud? Birds of a feather "flock together; and that is the reason why tho Liberals and tho Red Feds are flocking together; and any person who has noticed the events which have taken place during the last month, bath outside and inside the House, must bo blind indeed if they cannot seo that by supporting tho Liberal Party, tuny are also supporting Iho Red Feds. —I am, etc., AMI LIB.-LAB, Otaki, December 3.
