Sir, —We English in Now Zealand are proud of this grand old song, but how about tho poor slaves of the Red Feds, tied and hound and led captive by a few-loud-voiced wind-bags? They cannot sing it. Surely, there never was sucu a tyranny under tho rule of tlie dreadful employers? So many decent men frightened from earning au honest living; and had they only had the pluck to stand shoulder to shoulder this strike would have collapsed like a pricked bubble-'. Tho pitv of it!—l. am, etc., FREEDOM.
