• FURTHER EXPRESSION. (By TeleEi-aph.—Pres.? Association.} Elthain, November 29. The Elthain Borough Council has passed tho following resolution: "Th-it the council of the Borough of Elthain, which is the centre of very large operations connected with tho dairying industry, upon which tho people are. mainly dependent, expresses appreciation of the patriotic and disinterested action of those who have come forward, at considerable sacrifice in some, cases, to assist the general Government in the maintenance of law and order, and : n the re-opening of the port of Wellington, which has enabled the accumulated produce of the farmers to be shipped to tl» Home markets."
