CONVICT'S PLOT TO ESCAPE.
ELABORATE PLANS TO EXPLODE THE PRISON. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright London, November 25. Warders at Parkhurst noticed Stinio Morrison (the man who at Claphain Common some two years ago murdered a Jew named Boron) put something into his mouth. They seized him and extracted a piece of chewed paper. An examination of the cell disclosed pieces of brown paper, on which details were set down of an elaborate plot to escape, including an explosion in the prison wall. Extra night guards have been placed outside. It is further stated that Morrison some time ago hunger-struck, and was placed in irons owing to his refractory conduct.
