Tho stores have rim out of fioitr, sugar, potatoes, onions, and some other lines, . but they still "nave a' good supply of shelf goods. _ The bakers are almost out of flour. Notico lias been given to tlm Buller Hospital and Charitable Aid Board that they cannot supply tread after Thursday. Tho Kairaki was expected here from Lyttelton with a cargo of produce, but advice ha J now been received that she is not'coming. . The General Labourers' Union has passed a resolution calling' on the Government to release the imprisoned leaders. _ Addresses hava been given by the local striko leaders at tho street corners, and Mr. M'lnernoy, formerly of Australia, whero he somo reputation as a leeturor, delivered flu address in tlie theatro to-niglit. .
