At a largo meeting of watersrdets this morning a ics.olution was passed to the eSecfc that tins union does not hold with the regis- . tratwn of a now union in Wellington. fcmidQ the arrival of Messrs, Voyce, Gonnellj and M'Lennan there havo been rumours to the: effect that somo unions will come out to-morrow. Tho Westralia, which is due to-inorrow from Auckland, i.s not, likely to bs worked at Uiis port as she Was loaded by. Arbitra.tionists. Several workers havo openly stated that no boats loaded by such labour will be worked at this port. Since hearing Sir. Voyce, workers aro i'UGl'iiir ,1 ?PP 0 action of tho secretary of their union in sympathising with tho registration of Jiew unions vtndor the Arbitration Act, The attitticlo of the employers, when tho Westralsa arrives., will considerably influenco tho situation, n orkors state that they desire to avoid a strike and that work should proceed smoothly, and many have expressed the opinion that it is best for them to adjust themselves to tli® altered circumstances and obtain their remedy at tho ballot-box.
