I labour being available. It is understood that a start will be made to unload the Moeraki, now lying at tho Birch Stre.pt Wharf, early next week. Members of the. recently-formed Arbitration Union I will bo e-Mgaged on the work, ftnd every I assistance is to be given by the officers and engineers, of tho Union Company's boats now hold up in Duncdin. Tlieso officers ami engineers aro. stated to bo petting tircil of their enforced inaction. It is not anticipated that the local waterfront employees will tviko any active steps to obstruct tho work, but, if it should be necessary to .iffon! protection to Arbitrationists, a number of special liorso and foot constables will bo provided for that purpose. Further, if such steps should be deemed necessary, access to the wharf will bo denied to those who aro not ciigrtgcd nt work. Barricades are being erected to stop obstructionists.
