, AGAIN DEPRECATED. . (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Auckland, November .'l2. A meeting of tho Citizens' Defenco Committee was held this morning. Representatives of the Farmers' Union wero present and reported that the present' stiength of the _ mounted men could be easily maintained until tho end of the year, and that .there woiild be no difficulty in keeping tho force of special mounted men up to a strength of 750 moll for three months longer if required. A resolution was passed unanimously as* follows"This meeting of, citizens .deprecates tho suggestions and the attitudo of Sir Joseph Ward in Parliament, and believes that however good his intentions may be, the only effect of tho attitude he took up in tho House last night will bo to embarrass tho Government in its difficult and responsible task of restoring order and authority, and will indirectly support the pretensions of tho Federation of Labour."
