ATTEMPTS TO BLOCK NEW ZEALAND STEAMERS. By Telegraph—Pr«3B Association—Copyright Sydney, November 12. The_ Illawarra Colliery Employees' Association has voted £100 for tho New Zealand strikers.
A deputation from the Newcastle miners and wharf labourers intends to ask the Minister of Labour to prevent steamers loaded in New Zealand coining to Australia during the Now Zealand strike, with a view £o preventing the strike extending to the Commonwealth.
