SUPREME COURT.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association!) Dunedih, November 10. Hie Supremo Court criminal sittings were concluded to-day. diaries Banwell was found guilty of assault and causing bodily harm, and was sentenced to 12 .months' imprisonment with hard labour. Angus Pollock wa.s sentenced to 12 months 1 imprisonment- for assault and robbery of £5 and a silver watch ; and George Irvine wiis acquitted on a charge of receiving stolen property. Frank Albert Reed was sentenced tothree months' imprisonment for thrft. David Carnali.au, who had been, found guilty of common assault on a JittJe girl, was placed, on probation for 13 months, conditionally that ho paid £10 16s._ costs, took out- a prohibition order against himself, and abstained from intoxicating liquor during this period of probation,
