MINISTERS ASSOCIATION.
STRIKE RESOLUTIONS. The following motions were carried at the monthly meeting of the Wellington Ministers' Association yesterday aftovaoon:— (1) "That this meeting of the Wellington Ministers' Association, recognising tho sever© loss to all classes .of tho community, and suffering to many ; resulting from tho present industriai conflict, appeals to both th& Employers' Federation and tho .Federation of Labour t<j exercise a more conciliatory spirit with mutual concessions." (2) "That, in view of the gravity .of tiro situation, the Wellington Minis-, tors' Association t-irgos. tlso Mayor to takn Steps: u.udor tho Justices, of tho Peaoo Act aiid Liceiising Act to prohibit the public sa.lo of intoxicating liqtior." ($) "TJiat, in via-w of the continuance of tho strike and tho possibility of tho distress anions tho woman and oliildrou of our city, this association calls .upon each Church to organiso .such relief asit deems neeessary in its own district."
