(By.Telegraph—Press Association.) Chrlstchuroh, November 7. The ferry steamer, Maori was again prevented from sailing to-night on account of aclk of firemen. At 7 ' p.m. there were three firemen and one trimmer short. No further men could be obtained. Th©. Maunganui, on arrival from Wellington to-morrow, will return immediately. An effort will be made to get the Maori away to-morrow night. Tho Queen of the South; which brought the mails down to-day, will Teturn tomorrow. • •
