Pafmerston, November 5. , Dairy farmers of Manawatu, Rangitifcei, and Hawke's Bar held a meoting at tho Showground yesterday, and resolved unanimously"That this meeting of dairy farmers deplores tho present paralysing position that has been brought about in regard to tho prodiictions_ of tho Dominion by tho, strike now in progress, and a- similar one lastyear,, and urges upon tho Government tho immediate necessity of introducing legislation which will rendor their recurrence impossible." A copy of tho resolution was telegraphed to the Primo Minister.
