ST. PATRICK'S COLLEGE.
ANNUAL SPORTS; The students of St. Patrick's College hold their annual sports at Atiiledc Park on Saturday. Favoured with fane weather, a largo attendance of friends of tho- collego and relatives of the students, and keen rivalry m the various events, tho gathering was a most successful one. The competitors ba trained assiduously for some weeks past, and, although no past college records wore broken the times put up we creditable and , the finishes close, the arrangements, too. were excellent, ami in this old boys lent material assistanco. Among those present were. Archbishop O'Shea, Doan B-egnault, Archdeacon Devoy, R«v. Father Major and Mrs. O'Sullivan, and Mrand Mrs. E. J. Fitzgibbon. Tho proceedings were enlivened Dy selections from Jupp's Band, while afternoon tea was dispensed bv friends of the college.
