THE SUBURBS DEFENCE CLUB. The Suburbs Defence Rifle Club'completed their second shoot in the first series 011 Saturday, at Broadway range, liiiramar, at 500, 60 V Q yards, for trophies presented by -Messrs. A. E. Kernot, Button, S. J. 11-ossj and Captain Kinsey. President C. K. Graham was Ja charge of the shooting. The best-scores for the, day we're by 11. 0. Barklo and IJ. Boon, with 93 apiece. Owing to the Drill Hall being closed, the management committee will meet at Mr. J. L. Turner's. Tlie club intend to be largely represented at the Wellington Riiie Association meeting. Next Wednesday and Saturday tho club will open with the third match in tho first series at ranges 3UO, SUO, 600 yards. A special prize for this match has been presented by tho Kosker Moat DeDot. of a laltib. Scores:—
