{To the Editor.) Sir, —The Leader of tlio Opposition (Sir J, 6. Ward) has do-ivo himself incalculable harm through his tiMviso utterance re the poliuo charge ip Poßt Office Square. Lot mo assure Sir Joseph Ward that his party lias lost hundreds of supporters in Wellington alono through his aelion. Yesterday, dozens of my friends, who in the past havo had leanings towards the Ward party, informed mo that at tlio next election they will remember how to deal with the man who at a trying timo endeavoured to liamper the efforts of those who woro doing their host to free the city from the grip of brutal rioters.—l am, etc., SANE WORKER.
