ASSOCIATION.
Tho New Zealand Association Foot- ■ ball Council mot Inst evening, Mr. L. 1 White (Canterbury) presiding. The following delegates wero also present:— Messrs. J. Lewis (Wangamii), A. P. Newbold (Auckland), J. I'. Atkins (Wellington), J. Inee (Manawatu), F. O'Connell (Otago), and W. J. H. Reynolds (Poverty Bay). In answer to a letter from Auckland, it was decided that a player bo suspended when ordered off the field until iiis caso is dealt with by the association directly concerned, providing thattho caso is decided within six months of tho offence. The. press committees of various associations wero authorised to impart to local journals as much information as possible concerning Association football. Tho Wellington Association wrote stating that they were unable to accept the decision arrived at by the New Zealand Council, in regard to the disqualification of Mr. T. Crouch, niul asked under which rulo tho decision was arrived at. _ It was decided to inform the association that Rules 2 and 1!) gave tho necessary authority far the, council's action. Mr. A. Gibbs wrote thanking tho New Zealand Association for elootini* him as its representative on tho Football Association, Ltd., London. A sub-committee, consisting 0 f Messrs. L. White, B. Salmon, and W. J. H. Reynolds, was appointed to conskier ways and moans of arranging a visit by an overseas representative team to the Dominion during tho 1914 season.
