PROFESSIONAL TOURNAMENT. Tlio Alcook Professional Tournament was continued last evening. As anticipated mucii interest was taken in tho match between llickey and Bowie,' which was played iii the showroom. Play was of a very even character, both contestants being very careful and taking no liberties. It was not. till af* tor tho 300 mark was readied that any* thing really eventful occurred when' Bowio, settling down to a break, compiled a nico run of 03, chiefly by allround play. His effort evoked applauso. Hickoy then camo along with' 37, 20, and 21 in quick succession, and after the 400 mark, caught his opponent, tho scores being 447 all. From this on Hickoy played confidently, and amidst enthusiasm won a magnificent battle by 33 points. Tho final scoree were. Hickoy, COO; Bowie, 4G7. The winner's beßt efforts were 87, 24, 20r 21, 23, and 27; while Bowio ma do runit of 03, 24 ( ana 20. To-night at 7.30 ' Forrest will meet Leggatt in tho semU' final.
