PATEA HARBOUR BILL.

The Patea Harbour Bill, which waß referred back, to the Local Bills Committee for re-consideration, was reported to tlie House on Friday with amendments. The schedule of boundaries litis been amended, and the territory Which was previously omitted between tho Wa-j nganui and Patea rating areas has now been included in tho Patea area. Another portion of the territory at tho northern end of tho district has been cut out. The rating schedule of tho Wanganui district remains unaltered. It is anticipated that both the Wa-' nganui and Patea Bills will bo free from any serious opposition.
