Rescue teams from every Welsh coalfield are engaged trying to got round tho fire to the isolated portion of tho mine whore tho men are entombed. The rescuers aro working in an atmos-; phero of extreme peril. The mine is full of gas, and atteraamp, and thero is a grave danger of a further explosion. It will prcbably take months to recover the viotims. RELIEF AND SYMPATHY FOR THE SUFFERERS. London, October 16. The Lord Mayor of Cardiff has opened a relief fund.
