The report of the capturo of tho town of Torroon, and tho slaughter of scores of Federal soldiers, has been confirmed. The wholesale massacro of Spaniards at Torreon is denied. Foreigners resident in Mexico City are concerned at the dispatch of all tho troops northwards, thus weakening tho support upon which tho Administration relies at tho capital.
