Tho Miners' Federation has resolved, with ono dissentient, upon a combination of the big tradiss unions, pledged to support each' other's demands. This resolution, it is considered, foreshadows a national strike of tho miners, railwaymen, and transport workers, not later than 1915, if tho new programmes are not secured by other methods. Mr. F. Burton, when seconding tho motion, said thai ho favoured tho methods of syndicalism, even of nihilism, in the fight against what was being praotised in Dublin to-day. Sydney, October 10. The waterside Workors' Conference has voted £200 for the support of the Dublin strikers, and recommended various branches to follow tho example. BOLTON COTTON SPINNERS. (Reo. October 10, 10.30 p.m.) London, October 10. TKo Bolton Cotton-spinners' Associa. tion has decided to continue the distribution of strike pay to tho Beehivo mills operatives, pending an appeal to the Operative Spinners' Amalgamation.
