At the Academy of Science, _ Dr. Loveron announced that Dr. _ Nicolle, Director of tho Pasteur Institute at Tunis, had discovered a vaccino that successfully solved tho problem of curing venereal disease. Two hundred cures have been recorded; there havo beou no failures. (Reo. Ootober 8, 9.25 p.m.) Paris, October 8. Dr. Sicolle's discovery regarding tho microbiological treatment of gonorrhetic infection consists of three injections at intervals of two days. Acute cases were cured in a fortnight. A single injection cures purulent ophthalmia in new-born babies, and the treatment is without undesirable aftereffects.
