At the Leather Exhibition a new style of boot, of tho "Derby-shootor" pattern, with chrome' sides, uppers of very fine quality, and designed for the army, was shown. Contracts for ten thousand pairs have been placed on order as a test. Exhibitors agree that tho scarcity of_ raw material is increasing and that higher prices aro inovitable.
