• HAWKESBURY SPRING MEETING. (Rec. September 28, 6.5 p.m.) Sydney, September 27. No New Zealand horse competed at the Hawkesburv Racing Club's Spring Meeting, which took place to-day. Principal results were as follow: — HAWKESBTJRY GUINEAS, for three- . year-olds. One, rime. Messrs. H. and G. Main's ch. c. Tofua, by Featherstitch—Delta 1 Mr. A. G. White's Ulva's Isle ; 2 Mr. A. Lynch's Marchwood 3 Also started: Flambuoyant and Beck's Lager. Won by half a length. Time, limn. 42sec. HAWKESBURY SPRING HANDICAP. One mile and a quarter and 100 yds. Mr. A. Foley's b. g. Sir Vive, 6yrs. 1 Posinatus 2 Duke Alwynne '. 3 Ten started. Won by half a length, with a Jength and a half between second and third. Time, 2min. 14seo. HIGH-WEIGHT HANDICAP. One tuile.—ln this race, Mr. J. Birlcs's Abbcite (Morv—Wanganui), carrying lOst. lib., defeated nine others. Time, ■Imin. 41Jsec.'
