Boys' league annual meeting. The annual meeting of the Wellington Boys' Cricket Loague was held on Saturday evening last. Mr. W. Walton presided. ' The annual report Btated that last teason'was not as successful as the one previous to it. • However, a good year Vvas now looked forward to. Messrs. Walton, Bowles, and Smith here appointed to wait upon the Wellington Cricket-Association for the purpose of seeking aid for the League. Officers were elected as ' follows Patron, His Excellency the Governor (Lord Liverpool); president,' Mr. W. Walton; vice-presidents, -Messrs. F. Bowloh, F. M'Clusky, W. Eglin, W. J. Mears, C. 'Lenihan,"V. Haydon \ secretary, Mr. B. Boll; treasurer, Mr. C. K. Dick; committee,' Messrs. G. Fitzgerald, F. J. O'DHscoll, K. Waller, B. Mabin, and K. De Muth. It was resolved that in future cham- ' pionship points shall count as follow: — Win,' 3 points; win on the first innings, 2 points; draw, one point.
