GRAVE NEWS FROM PAPUA.
NATIVE VILLAGES ABLAZE. By Tclecraph—Press Association -Copy richi Sydney, September 20. A wireless message from Port Moresby states that grave trouble lias been l'oported from the Ilonian Catholic Mission in the Mafalu district, and that a murderous fight is going on. Villages are afiro and fresh tribes are joining the conflict. Four mission "boys" were attacked, ono being speared and then cut to pieces. . in Tho mission is' appealing to the Government for lielp, and aniarmcd patrol lias been ordered to procccd to the scenc of tho trouble.
